I am Rui Yang, a Lecturer in the Department of Artificial Intelligence, School of Computer Science and Technology, Huaqiao University, and a Senior Member of IEEE.
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology from the School of Computer Science, Shaanxi Normal University in June 2025, where I conducted research with ISAC-Lab under the supervision of Prof. Xiaojun Wu. I received my M.S. in Computer Technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University in December 2019.
My research interests include pattern recognition, computer vision, and machine learning, with a particular focus on the integration of cultural and artistic imagery with modern computing technologies. I have published more than ten papers in leading journals and conferences, including IEEE TVCG, ESWA, ICCV, AAAI, and WACV.
I have participated in the National Key Research and Development Program of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and I currently lead or contribute to several research projects, including the Fujian Provincial Natural Science Foundation General Program, the Fujian Provincial Social Science Special Project, and the Huaqiao University Talent Introduction Program. I also serve as a reviewer for major conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, and ACM MM, as well as journals including IEEE TIP and IEEE TVCG.
